GVN Foundation Australia - Sponsor a Student

We welcome general donations to support GVNFA projects, or you can sponsor a child at Aberdare Ranges Primary School and play a pivotal role in the creation of our school in Kenya.

Child Education Sponsorship

Aberdare Ranges Primary School began its first classes in May 2010, and each year three classrooms will be built until the school is completed. Your donation will help break the poverty cycle in Kenya by educating the next generation of African leaders.

Monica Wangari Lucy

Monica Monica is 6 years old and would like to be a teacher when she grows up. She loves to skip rope and her favourite subject is maths. Monica's favourite animal is a dog.

Rehema Mbera Oyugi

Rehema Rehema is 6 years old with a dream of becoming a policeman. He loves to skip rope and enjoys his english class. His favourite animal is an elephant.

Paul Njuguna Mwirigi

Paul Paul is 6 years old and wants to be a policeman when he grows up. He loves to play football and his favourite subject is language/arts. His favourite animal is a lion.

Margaret Wanjiru Nduta

Margaret Margaret is 6 years old and dreams of becoming a doctor. She loves to skip rope and her favourite subjects are language and arts. Her favourite animal is a goat.

  2. Sponsor a child at Aberdare Ranges for just $AUD 50 per month and we provide the child with 2 meals per day, a uniform, books and stationery, medical care and a contribution to construction and security for the school.
  3. Naming rights for a classroom or library block that you donate.
  4. Regular correspondence with your sponsor child.
  5. Opportunity to join a working bee trip to Aberdare Ranges to see in person the difference your donation makes.

All donors who donate via Paypal will be sent a confirmation/thank you email. However, if you are donating via Bpay or cheque and wish to receive a confirmation/thank you email please e-mail GVNF Australia. Please note GVNF Australia is currently applying for tax deductibility status. However, at present we are unable to provide donors with a tax deduction for gifts made to us.
